Did you ever wonder what wines growers and wine makers all over the world drink, besides their own wine? They usually seek out the small producer. In Australia they call them "cleanskins", because the small producers don't usually have a budget for a label. They write the vintage, grape, and producer on the bottle with a marker. In Napa we are small batch winemakers. We usually have just enough wine for our friends and family, and for those folk who know that there will never be a substitute for doing what you love, and having the added luxury of drinking it!
