Animae
Animae is latin for soul. Growers have used the term for centuries to describe a vineyards character. The wine (soul) in this bottle was sourced from the rich soils of Coomsbville and Calistoga in Napa Valley. It was cropped at less than 3 tons per acre, and punched down by hand 3-5 times daily. It is deep and fruity with sweet tannins for structure and aging.
